Young at Heart:

A Naturist Festival

Code of Conduct

Last Updated: 9/5/26

Come as you are, treat others with kindness, and make yourself at home! Young at Heart is a welcoming, family-friendly naturist festival that celebrates body positivity, connection, and mutual respect. This Code applies to attendees, guests, volunteers, performers, vendors, staff, and anyone participating in or attending the Event.

By attending, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct, the Sunsport Gardens Rules, and reasonable directions from festival and resort staff. This Code supplements and does not replace the Sunsport Gardens Rules.

Respect & Consent

  • Treat everyone with respect, regardless of age, appearance, background, experience level, or whether they choose to be nude or clothed.

  • Nudity is never an invitation for sexual attention or contact.

  • Ask before touching another person, or their belongings, and respect their answer immediately. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

  • No unwanted sexual comments, sexual advances, comments about someone's body, or repeated unwanted attention.

  • Harassment, intimidation, bullying, threats, discrimination, or behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome is not permitted.

Family-Friendly, Non-Sexual Environment

Young at Heart is a family-friendly, non-sexual environment.

  • Sexual activity, sexualized behavior, public displays of sexual activity, or solicitation of sexual activity are not permitted in festival or shared/public areas of the resort.

  • Fetish wear and sexually explicit clothing or accessories are not permitted in shared festival spaces.

  • When in doubt about whether behavior or attire is appropriate, please ask a festival staff member.

Photography & Privacy

We take everyone's privacy seriously.

  • Never photograph, record, livestream, or otherwise capture an identifiable person without that person’s express permission.

  • Take reasonable care to avoid capturing people in the background of photos or videos.

  • Do not post or share an identifiable image or recording of another person without that person’s permission.

  • Do not use hidden cameras or recording devices.

  • Livestreaming festival activities or attendees requires permission from festival staff and the people appearing in the livestream.

  • Permission to take a photograph does not authorize advertising or promotional use. Promotional use requires separate consent.

  • If someone asks you to delete a photo or video containing them, please respect their request. If a request is made to delete a photo or video containing someone and it is denied, notify festival staff immediately.

Respect the Resort & Community

Sunsport Gardens is both our festival venue and a home for residents. Please respect the property, residents, and other guests.

  • Follow all Sunsport Gardens rules, posted instructions, and pool/hot tub requirements.

  • Always carry a towel or something to sit on and always use it when sitting.

  • Always shower with soap and fully wash off before entering the pool or hot tub.

  • Keep pathways, entrances, ramps, and emergency access areas clear.

  • Respect private lots, personal property, designated paths, and common areas. Do not enter private spaces without invitation.

  • Keep noise and activity at a level appropriate for a shared community.

Alcohol & Substances

  • If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly and in accordance with Sunsport Gardens' rules. You are responsible for your behavior whether drinking or not.

  • Behavior that becomes disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate due to alcohol or other substances may result in removal from the festival.

Children

  • Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising minors in their care at all times.

  • Do not photograph, record, or share an identifiable image of a minor without the required permission from the minor’s parent or legal guardian.

Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct or makes you feel unsafe, notify Event staff or Sunsport Gardens Management. Call 911 for an immediate emergency. Do not confront anyone or place yourself at risk.

We will handle concerns as discreetly as reasonably possible, but absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report is not permitted.

Enforcement

Festival and resort staff may address behavior that violates this Code of Conduct or creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment. Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in a warning, removal from an activity or area, or removal from the festival and/or resort without a refund. Staff may take immediate action without first issuing a warning when reasonably necessary for safety or security. Serious incidents may be reported to Sunsport Gardens management or law enforcement when appropriate.

Our goal is not to police people—it's to create a space where everyone can relax, be themselves, and enjoy the festival. When in doubt, choose kindness, respect, and consent.
